Uzbekistan invites EOIs for 200MW Sherabad solar project

Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy is inviting expressions of interest for the development and construction of a 200MW solar park near Sherabad, in the southeastern province of Surkhandarya. The project will also include construction of  a 220kV substation and a 52km transmission line. EOI responses are due by Feb 22. The project is part of a 1GW solar programme developed by the government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). ADB is the transaction adviser.
