AfDB sets aside $10bn for Nigeria transport infra push

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has set aside around $10 billion to finance the development of roads and other infrastructure in Nigeria. A Transport Specialist/Consultant to the AfDB, Abayomi Babalola, disclosed the news on 20 February

Financed via AfDB’s transport sector identification mission, the loan will assist the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency to address the funding gap in the road repair efforts of the agency. The facility will be disbursed to different sector of the economy for a period of 10 years.
