CDC appoints Amal-Lee Amin as Climate Change Director

Region:
Europe

CDC Group, the UK’s publicly owned impact investor, has appointed Amal-Lee Amin as Climate Change Director.

The move comes ahead of the company’s new climate change strategy launch, scheduled for later this year.

She will also lead and promote CDC’s contribution to the success of the upcoming COP26 conference on climate change, which the UK will host in November.

Amin most recently served as the Chief of Climate Change Division at the Inter-American Development Bank, leading the organisation’s efforts to support Latin America and the Caribbean region with implementation of their objectives under the Paris Agreement.
