Ukraine-based Baryshevska Grain Company (BGC) has raised a commitment from the EBRD for up to €7 million of additional debt to support its working capital needs. In 2019 the EBRD extended BGC a €10 million credit line to increase grain receiving capacity and purchase new agricultural machinery. The new loan, issued as part of the EBRD's response to the pandemic, will help BGC withstand the impact of Covid-19. Proceeds will be used to improve logistics, storage, and transportation infrastructure and install two biomass fired grain dryers with a combined 24MW capacity.
