FMO's CEO to step down

Peter van Mierlo will be stepping down as CEO of FMO. The development bank's supervisory board has asked van Mierlo to stay for another three months in an advisory role to the management board, to chief risk and finance officer Fatoumata Bouare and chief investment officer Linda Broekhuizen.

Prior to joining FMO in 2018, van Mierlo worked in the professional services industry for over 30 years. He started his career in 1987 at one of the predecessors of PwC. In 1996 he was admitted to the PwC partnership and rose to become managing partner of PwC Europe.
