IFC proposes $87 million loan package for Myanmar solar

The IFC has proposed an additional $87 million investment package for Yoma Micro Power. Proceeds will fund the construction of micro solar power plants for off-grid communities in Myanmar. The funding complements IFC's initial equity investment in the joint venture and increases that stake by $7.4 million.
