ADB approves $3 million grant to Sri Lanka

Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $3 million grant from it's Asia Pacific Disaster Relief Fund to support Sri Lanka's Covid-19 response. Financed by the Japanese government, the grant will be used to purchase personal protective equipment and testing kits amongst other medical equipment. ADB has also provided Sri lanka with a $1 million regional technical assistance grant.
