Europe

The EBRD has appointed Hannes Takacs to lead the DFI in Mongolia. Takacs starts his new role as head of office on 14 July (2020) and moves to Ulaanbaatar as soon as conditions allow.

He follows Irina Kravchenko who led the EBRD office in Mongolia for the past three years and now serves as the bank’s deputy head of Ukraine.

Takacs joined the EBRD in 2014 in the financial sector, specialised in investment activities after more than 20 years of international experience in capital market development, IPOs and business development.

Prior to joining the EBRD, he was managing director of CAPMEX, the capital market and corporate finance consultancy, and as such responsible for activities in more than 50 countries.
