CABEI raises credit line to Banco Ficohsa to $130m

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) has agreed a $30 million increase to the Global Credit Line to Honduras-based Banco Financiera Comercial Hondurena to reach a total amount of up to $130 million.

The funds will be used to finance projects in the framework of any of the CABEI financial intermediation programs focused on the productive sectors, foreign trade, and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The GCL will have indicative rates for the financial institution ranging between 4.5% and 5.8% and depending on the applicable program.
