Gas Natural de Lima y Callao (Calidda) is out to market to back the expansions of its gas distribution business in Peru. Calidda is eyeing up around up to $100 million in financing to fund the distribution systems, which are located in both Lima and Peru’s constitutional province of Callao.

IDB Invest is arranging the 8-year unsecured loan. Besides its gas distribution business, Calidda is also developing gas-fired power projects in Peru through a subsidiary called Calidda Energia. One of them, a 4MW project in Lima, is expected to supply the capital's Puruchuco mall.

Calidda's largest shareholder is Colombia’s Grupo Energia de Bogota.
