Agricultural Development Bank of China selects new chief

The Agricultural Development Bank of China has announced President Qian Wenhui has been appointed its new Communist Party chief. Qian is also expected to take over as the bank’s chairman after current chair Xie Xuezhi retires.

Qian, 58, has over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, including at China Construction Bank and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
