Romania's Agricover to launch €40m bonds

Romanian agribusiness Agricover Holding is preparing to launch a €40 million bond issue on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The bonds will have a face value of €50,000 and a maturity of up to seven years. They are addressed to a limited number of qualified investors and will then start trading on the main segment of the exchange.

Agricover is controlled by Iranian businessman Jabbar Kanani, one of the leading players in the local agricultural market, with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development among its shareholders.
