Denmark's IFU doubles equity investment in TDB to $40m

Denmark’s Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) has invested $20 million in additional Class B shares of the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (TDB), effectively doubling its equity investment in the bank to $40 million.  

IFU became TDB’s first European fund to invest in TDB’s Class B shares in December 2019, when it bought an initial $20 million in the bank’s capital stock.
