IFC proposes $60m facility to Vietnam's TBW for two wind projects

The IFC has proposed a $60 million 12-year senior loan to Vietnam-based Thuan Binh Wind Power (TBW) to develop two of its wind power projects in Vietnam.  The projects, which are expected to cost approximately $84 million, include the Phu Lac 2 wind power project (26 MW) in Binh Thuan province and the Loi Hai 2 wind power project (28.9 MW) in Ninh Thuan province. TBW, which is one of the first wind power companies in Vietnam, will put up $24 million equity.
