CAF appoints Renny Lopez as Interim Executive President

CAF - the development bank of Latin America - has appointed Renny Alberto Lopez as Interim Executive President. The move follows Luis Carranza Ugarte's resignation from the position.

Lopez, a Venezuelan national, joined CAF 27 years ago. He has also held positions as Colombia's Office Interim Director, Corporate Banking Director, Special Assets Director and Corporate Director of Energy Projects. He was appointed Risk Vice President in 2017.

In his 35-year career he has also worked at Banco Mercantil, Royal Bank of Canada and Morgan Grenfell & Co (Deutsche Bank).
