EIB and Bankia allocate €800m to finance SME and midcap investments

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide financing for Spanish SME and midcap projects with a €400 million loan to Bankia. Bankia will match the loan with the same amount. The aim is to help Spanish SMEs and midcaps access long-term financing.
