EBRD funds Bucharest-Otopeni metro

The EBRD is to provide €300 million towards the Bucharest-Otopeni metro project in Romania. At the end of 2017, the Ministry of Transport announced that it had approved and recently sent to the European Commission the request to fund Line 6, connecting 1 Mai metro station to Otopeni, with a total value of approximately €1.392 billion.
