EBRD meets green-economy goals early as investment hits new record

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) hit targets for climate finance ahead of schedule in 2017 and its total annual investment reached a new record high. Financing for the green economy rose from €2.8 billion in 2016 to €4.1 billion, accounting for 43% of total financing in 2017.
