EBRD, IFC, EIB commit $425m to fund for green bonds in emerging markets

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, and the European Investment Bank have made a landmark investment in the Amundi Planet – Emerging Green One Fund to invest in green bond issuances by emerging market institutions. The EBRD provided $68.5 million, the IFC $256 million, and the EIB $100 million. It has a total investor commitment of $1.42 billion, making it the world's largest green bond.
