Banco Galicia considers second green issue

Banco Galicia is considering a follow-up tranche to the $100 million seven-year green bond it placed last week with sole subscriber the IFC. The deal is the first green bond to be issued by a private financial institution in Argentina. The proceeds will allow the bank to support climate change mitigation projects, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable construction projects.
