ECGC takes stake in ATI

The government of India is investing $10 million in the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI) – the first time a non-African government has become a member of the pan-African multilateral credit insurer. Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) will represent the government’s shareholding in ATI. ECGC has operated in Africa since the 1960s and plans to deepen its engagement in the region.
