KfW signs €150m loan for Georgian underground gas storage facility

German development bank KfW has agreed a €150 million loan to the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation to finance an underground gas storage facility.

The project is designed to help ensure the elimination of existing imbalances between gas supply and consumption in the country and satisfy the peak consumption in winter.
