OPIC resuming activity in Uzbekistan

The Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the US DFI, is resuming activity in Uzbekistan. Bilateral "road maps" are being realized to implement the agreements worth about $5 billion.

A US delegation said OPIC is resuming activity in Uzbekistan and will help US business to invest in the Uzbek market through the provision of loans and guarantees.
