US and Panama sign energy and infra investment initiative

The US and the Republic of Panama have signed a memorandum of understanding to foster cooperation on energy and infrastructure investment known as the Americas Grow initiative. Among the aims of the agreement is to broaden Panama's role as a LNG gas hub for Central America and the Caribbean, accelerate the adoption of renewables, encourage investment in the grid and develop the use of natural gas for energy projects.
