Kingston names preferred proponent for Third Crossing bridge project

The City of Kingston has named the team of Peter Kiewit Sons ULC, Hatch and SYSTRA International Bridge Technologies as the preferred proponent for the detailed design and building of the Third Crossing project. Construction of the 1.2km bridge is expected to begin in summer 2019 and will receive funding from the Government of Canada, the Province of Ontario and the City of Kingston.
