EIB agrees €500m loan to Nokia for 5G research

Finland-based Nokia has signed a €500 million loan deal with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to boost its research and development of 5G technology. The loan is supported by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), part of the Investment Plan for Europe, also known as the Juncker Plan.
