EIB supports further expansion of Budapest's Liszt Ferenc International Airport

The European Investment Bank has agreed a €200 million laon to help expand and upgrade Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Hungary.

The loan to Budapest Airport, the company operating the airport, will help increase the capacity of the airport in order to accommodate expected future demand growth.

Budapest Airport is also undertaking many other significant projects, including a new cargo facility, a multi-storey car park and a range of projects aimed at ensuring a continued high service level.
