NIB finances Tele2's digital expansion in Sweden

Nordic Investment Bank and the Swedish telecom operator Tele2 AB have signed a SEK2 billion (€194 million) loan agreement to finance the company's merger with TV and broadband provider Com Hem.

The eight-year maturity loan finances the merger of the telecommunications company Tele2 and Com Hem, a Swedish provider of TV, broadband and telephony services, to create an integrated connectivity provider.

The merger was announced in January 2018 and completed in November 2018.
