IBRD backs Uttar Pradesh roads programme

The Uttar Pradesh government has raised a $400 million IBRD loan for its UP Core Road network development project – a scheme to upgrade and strengthen 500 km of state highways. Signed on October 11, the facility has a six-year grace period and a final maturity of 24 years.
