World Bank re-enters Danish kroner market with inaugural Green Bond
The World Bank has priced a 20-year DKK3 billion green bond – its first green bond denominated in Danish kroner.
It also represents the World Bank’s first issuance in DKK since 1997. The bond carries a coupon of 0.20% per annum and matures on 15 November, 2039. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB was the lead manager for the transaction.
The deal received strong support from institutional investors in Denmark and Sweden including several pension funds – ATP, Danica Pension, PFA Pension, MP Pension, PenSam, AP2 – and Danske Capital.
