KfW backs Capljina HPP upgrade

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is guaranteeing a €15 million ($16.5 million) 15-year (inclusive of five-year grace period) loan from KfW to state-owned Elektroprivreda HZHB to finance modernisation of the 40-year old 420MW Capljina hydro power plant (HPP). KfW is also providing €9.5 million for a public buildings energy efficiency project.
