World Bank approves first Chinese domestic PPP loan

The World Bank has approved a €89.1 million ($99 million) loan for a water sector public private partnership project in the city of Deyang, Sichuan Province. It is China's first domestic PPP loan from the World Bank and it will be used to improve access to water supply and sanitation services in the city.
