Belarus development bank backs hospital projects

Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus is providing loans to build a healthcare complex in Brest and to reconstruct City Clinical Hospital No.3 in Grodno. The Development Bank will provide a loan of BYR25 million ($10.46 million) to Brest in 2020-2022 and BYR53.8 million to Grodno in 2020-2025.

The Brest loan will be repaid from national budget funds set aside to finance state investment programs in 2020-2029. The loan to reconstruct the hospital in Grodno will be repaid from the Grodno Oblast budget.
