Canadian Solar closes $30m CPDFund financing

Canadian Solar has closed a $30 million financing agreement with  the China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Cooperation and Development Fund (CPDFund) that will be used for the development and construction of solar projects in Brazil. The company has 1.7GW of solar projects awarded PPAs in Brazilian auctions including 480MW of operational capacity. CPDFund was established by China Development Bank and the Macau Industrial and Commercial Development Fund to promote Chinese investment and cooperation.
