BNDES to finance 361MW Campo Largo 2 wind project

Brazilian utility Engie Brasil Energia has approved the signing of a BRL1.243 billion ($237.4 million) loan with the country's development bank BNDES for the 361.2MW Campo Largo 2 Wind Complex. 

The financing will be used to construct 11 wind farms, of 86 turbines in total, in the municipality of Sento Se, in Bahia state

The complex requires a total investment of BRL2 billion. The company expects the first turbines to become operational by the end of 2020, with the full completion targeted by March 2021.
