COVID-19: IsDB provides $444.5m to nine countries

The Islamic Development Bank has announced fresh financial packages - ranging from $15 million to $250 million to support each Member Country in their efforts to tackle the Covid-19 crisis.

The largest package - $250 million - went to Turkey, while Chad and Benin both received $20 million. Guinea-Bissau received $15 million, Mali $22.5 million, $46.2 million went to Ivory Coast, $25.6 million to the Maldives, $25 million to Sierra Leone, and $20.2 million to Uganda.
