CDC appoints Jonathan Hughes as Chief Risk Officer

The UK's CDC Group has announced the appointment of Jon Hughes as its Chief Risk Officer, effective immediately. 

He brings over 23 years of experience in risk management, having held several senior roles within Risk at Goldman Sachs, including Global Head of Market Risk Capital and Analysis, Chief Risk Officer of Goldman Sachs International, Chief Risk Officer of Infrastructure and Private Equity Fund Management. He was also Chief Risk Officer at Rothesay Life. 

Hughes will take on responsibility of the organisation’s risk management across all markets, portfolio, liquidity, operational, security and other non-financial risks. He will also sit on CDC’s Executive Committee.
