Brazil's BNDESPar hires BTG to sell Copel stake

BNDESPar, the investment arm of Brazilian state development bank BNDES, has selected investment bank Banco BTG Pactual SA to coordinate a secondary offering of its stake in power company Copel.

Cia Paranaense de Energia, as Copel is formally known, said BNDESPar, or BNDES Participacoes, could sell up to the entirety of its stake in the company, which represents 24% of Copel's share capital.
