Taaleri buys into Jordan's 200MW Baynouna solar project

Taaleri Group, through its investment fund Taaleri Aurinkotuuli, has acquired a 30% interest from renewable energy company Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) in the 200MW Baynouna solar power project in Jordan. The IFC is leading the debt financing for the €210 million project and power will be sold to the Jordanian National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) under a 20-year PPA.
