EIB finances extension of Rabat-Salé tramway

The European Investment Bank has agreed a €40 million loan with Morocco's Rabat-Salé Tramway Company to extend the intercity tramway. The transport project will add 12 stops - four in Rabat and eight in Salé - and will help reduce the country's reliance on fossil fuels.
