A $50 million loan to support the construction of the Arauco Wind Project II and its associated transmission connection is under consideration by the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC). The A loan would facilitate the build-out of phases 1-4 proposed as two separate projects split between special purpose companies Vientos de Arauco Renovables and Arauco Renovables. CAMMESA has awarded each project a 20-year PPA under the Argentinian RenovAr Program at $67.19 per MWh and $56.67 per MWh respectively.
