12 pre-qualify for Ethiopia's first Scaling Solar tender

Twelve bidders have pre-qualified for Ethiopia’s first Scaling Solar tender. Up to 250MW is on offer, split between two 125MW PV projects. The bidders are: Access/Total Eren; Acciona/Swicorp; Actis/Mulilo; ACWA Power; Al-Nowais/Aldwych/Alten; EDF/Masdar; Enel Green Power; FRV/Globeleq/Belayab; KoSPCo/Kepco; Mitsui; Nareva/Adani; and Scatec Solar. The IFC is adviser to state-owned utility EEP, and Dentons is legal counsel to the IFC.
