Greenalia secures EIB funding for 50MW biomass project

Spanish forestry and energy group Greenalia has secured up to €60 million of funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for its 50MW Greenalia Biomass Power Curtis-Teixeiro project. Consequently, the company will no longer pursue an offer from Spanish pulp mills operator Ence Energia y Celulosa to buy the project.
