Region:
Middle East & Africa, Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe

The Loan Market Association has released the results of a survey of its membership on the opportunities and challenges facing increasingly active developing market jurisdictions. Most respondents saw geopolitical risk as the main challenge to risk in 2018, and a rise in the supply of "bankable" transactions as the most important factor for growth in the syndicated loan market in developing markets. Multilateral banks were deemed to be the source of lending which will show the greatest growth in 2018.
