Angola plans to join Scaling Solar program

The Angolan Ministry of Energy and Water has invited representatives of the World Bank to discuss ways of increasing the share of solar energy in the African country in the period up to 2022. Several sites for the construction of solar parks have already been identified.

 

They will discuss the possible entry of the African country in the Scaling Solar program, a scheme run by the same financial institution which is aimed at unlocking private investment in emerging solar markets in Africa.
