WASA awards Grandharbpur water project

Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has awarded a DBO contract to Veolia and Suez for the €275 million Gandharbpur drinking water treatment project. The plant will have a daily production capacity of 500,000 m³ and is scheduled to take four years to build. The project will be funded by the Asian Development Bank, the AFD, the EIB and the Bangladeshi government.
