Nepal to set up first Infrastructure Development Bank

Nepal is to set up its first Infrastructure Development Bank to support the country's mega infrastructure projects. It will officially begin operations within the next six months.

 

The bank will by support infrastructure projects by making the required equity investment and opening letters of credit to facilitate the import of necessary equipment.
