EBRD and Risen Energy sign deal to finance Kazakhstan solar project

Chinese solar panel manufacturer Risen Energy has signed a mandate letter with the EBRD for financing construction of a 63MW solar project in Kazakhstan.

Construction of the greenfield 63MW solar project will start in September and is scheduled to be completed in June 2019. EBRD and Risen Energy signed another mandate letter earlier this year for financing of Risen Energy's 40MW solar project, also in Kazakhstan.
