AfDB agrees loan to Uganda Development Bank to boost SME financing

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a $20 million loan to the Uganda Development Bank. The financial package comprises of a ten-year $15 million Sovereign Guaranteed Line of Credit for on-lending to projects in various sectors and a $5 million Non-Sovereign Line of Credit to support a financing program for small and medium-sized enterprises.
