EBRD finances 7MW solar power plant in Ukraine

The EBRD is to provide a €5.6 million 10-year loan to Ekotechnik Shyroke to build a 7MW solar power plant in the Dnipropetrovsk region of the Ukraine. The project, which is ultimately jointly owned by Ekotechnik Group (Czech Republic) and Tryba Energy (France), will contribute to Ukraine's goal of increasing its renewable energy capacity to 11% of all power generation by 2020.
